A “hot husband,” to Ze Carter, is one that cares more for those around him than for himself. “What makes my husband the Hottest Husband in Lake County is not just his good looks or the way he loves and cares for his family, but also in the way he affects other people around him,” she says.

From forgoing college to care for his five siblings after his mother’s death to running the family salon and bakery to giving a stranded person a ride home, Lennard sees that giving up time for others is just what is engrained in him.

“Lennard really does let his light shine no matter where he goes. He is a humble man who loves the Lord,” Ze says.

Lennard is currently working toward becoming a licensed practical nurse, a career many believe, including Ze, is exactly what would fit Lennard’s compassionate personality.

“Everyone that has crossed paths with my husband agrees that this is the profession for him,” she says. Even the Director of Nursing at the hospital where Lennard is performing his clinicals named him the most outstanding student for being the one who showed patients the most that they mattered and their needs would be met.
