Jo-Anne Drury began her Hottest Husband entry for her husband with a song describing all a woman does in a day for her family. Yet Jo-Anne states that if the song were written with a man singing it, the song would still apply to what her husband John does for his family.

“My husband is an incredible man who balances work, family and play better than any other husband I know,” she says.

At work, John is credited with being a caring employer to his employees and to the community that he works with each day.

At home, his five children (ages three to 20) appreciate his mentoring to them as a loving parent as well as being their friend and coach. “He sees each of his children as unique and special and celebrates the differences every day. They adore their father,” Jo-Anne says.

Jo-Anne also finds that John has that heartfelt personality with her as well, showering her with love and affection. “He is supportive, helpful, encouraging, uplifting, charming, playful, and he writes great poetry,” she says.

John spends his downtime camping, taking pictures and downhill skiing, all part of his day spent improving the lives of his wife, family and community.
