Dr. Maen Hussein

He’s a dedicated doctor, dad and husband who cares about everyone, according to Dr. Maen Hussein’s wife Michelle who believes he should be crowned the 2010 “Hottest Husband.”

“He has a huge heart and never wants to say no to anyone,” she says.

Dr. Hussein is a recognized oncologist in Lake County with his own practice as well as privileges at Florida Hospital Waterman, Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Regional Hospital. Working long hours can make it difficult to be home but Dr. Hussein does what he can to balance his time.

“Maen is always scrambling between hospitals and his office, as he really takes his patients to heart and loves his work,” Michelle says. “Yet somehow he always manages to find time for the kids and me.”

Those times spent with family usually involve trips to Disney with the couple’s two sons, going to movies, vacationing or just watching his beloved New England sports teams on television.

Even though he does not want to draw attention to himself, Michelle feels he is deserving of this title because he is a “hot” husband at heart.

“He is very handsome but he is so caring and compassionate.”
