4 * Emerging Artist FestivalEmerging Artist Festival
The Mount Dora Center for the arts is expanding the 37th Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival. In 2012 we will be adding booths for emerging artists. The success of the expansion in 2011 to include “Emerging Young Artists”, high school students, has encouraged us to take this initiative a step further. We are inviting artists who are beginning their careers to apply for a booth as an “Emerging Artist”. The artists will be integrated into the festival and will be given a booth at no cost to them. They will have the opportunity to participate in several hours of art festival marketing training seminars. The artists who are selected will represent the diversity of talent that is emerging in the art world.
