I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone for all your support and confidence in me, and for trusting in me so I can trust in myself and push on. I really owe alot of gratitude to my trainer Lenora who is wonderful and helps me everyday with wisdom and knowledge to get through this with the best result possible and for all she has taught me during our personal training session’s, also thank you to Valerie another contestant who always encourages and inspires me to keep up the good work, that has been my biggest reason to keep my head up and strive for the top. I hope each and every contestant is doing well and starting to see the positive changes in their life.I am noticing alot in my own life, however my biggest is their is finally weight loss and I am not starving or hungry all the time. I am finally catching on to the diet and really sticking to my daily calorie count, I have cut the sweets and yes my big one NO MORE SODA this was a big change for me. I drink so much water now I might as well hook right into the aquifer and bottle my own. I also have ate so much Chicken that I am gonna start clucking. I will admit this week in the gym Lenora put a whooping on me, I left their both days with my legs and thighs trembling and my abdomen on fire, she has lit a fire under me that I leave the gym go home eat dinner and walk 45mins. on my own around down town Eustis just to burn extra calories. I have now learned how to shop and yes it still take some effort and little longer and definitely more expensive but well worth it. I have everyone in my house eating better not as good as me yet but a little is better than nothing and it is a start. I am so excited for this chance and wish everyone the best, I am not looking at this as I need to win because believe me in my heart I have already won, by overcoming my issue of I can’t and overcoming my junk food and bad eating habits and learning to exercise daily I feel I am already a winner, I know I am getting healthier and by doing so showing my friends and family it is possible to overcome the challenges and making a better life for my two beautiful little girls, they are my world and I want to spend as much time here on earth as I can and this is my biggest step in that direction to be here for them. I wish each and everyone of the contestants the best of luck next week is gonna hurt but it’s all worth it when we meet for the Feb. 2 weigh in. See you all their and best of luck.

My inspirational quote I took to heart this week: ” Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care”

Here we are another week into this Fit for Change, so far so good. This week I met with my personal trainer Tues. and Thurs. and man she is tough, I have been doing several different types of strength training and Exercise man am I feeling it, I never thought I would be able to do that many crunches but I have probally did over a hundred crunches this week and I am really feeling it tonight. I am also learning some yoga and Pilate’s to help with the balancing and stretching I need to help segment my body. I have to say Lenora is very good she pushes me to my max but no further and very firm about helping me turn my body around and gain muscle where I have none. I am also doing alot of cardio on the days I don’t have weight and strength training and walking on my own free time. I am doing ok with my diet yes it is a challenge and it does take some reassurance and self control but I have to say I feel much better and have more energy and it’s only the second week. I never knew it took so long to shop, but man when you have to read all the labels and the nutrition guides it takes some time, my diet is low carbs no sugar and lots of lean meat, protein and fresh veggie’s and fruit.
