From 8 a.m to 10:30 p.m. To some people, this time period is spent working hard at their job, out doing errands or at home keeping order. Shelley Graham of Leesburg however finds her day spread out at many different locations around Lake and Marion counties within that same time frame.
Besides completing her nursing residency at Ocala’s Munroe Regional Medical Center, Shelley also is studying to become a personal trainer and just took her NCLEX-RN test (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) to become licensed as a registered nurse.
These responsibilities are also on top of working part-time handling billing charges for Leesburg doctors Dr. Bindoo and Dr. Shakiti Narain.
Even with everything on her plate, Shelley sees her busy schedule as steps she is willing to take to obtain the career of her choice while helping others.
“It seems like a lot but to me it is not as much as what other people do,” says Shelley. “What I do is set goals for myself and I always go that extra mile.”
