Tracy Hernandez: A Closer Look
Written by Michael Harris
The biggest chore Tracy Hernandez has as a stay-at-home mom is keeping up with fireballs Kaylee, 10, and Alyssa, 5.
That was prior to January. Now, four months later, Tracy is keeping up with them and becoming more active with them.
“I have more energy, more endurance and I feel a difference,” she says.
Tracy is now 19 pounds lighter than when she first started and 7.5 percent leaner than in January, and now she’s going for more walks and bike rides with the girls.
With summer arriving, Tracy is not without carrying some extra weight.
“Sunscreen, bottled water and sunglasses,” she says with a laugh.
Tracy has been working out this past month, mostly without her trainer Sharlynne Rivera at the National Training Center since she was out-of-town. She has been getting help from her husband, David, who is an EMT and a fireman.
“He’s been very encouraging and helpful,” she says.
