Hart now a Ram

The St. Louis Rams last week signed former South Sumter High and San Diego Chargers safety Clinton Hart.
Hart, a starter for more than five years with San Diego, was cut by the franchise in October. With the Rams, he joins head coach Steve Spagnuolo, who was an assistant coach while Hart was with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002 and 2003.
“I’ve been around him enough to know he’s a solid character guy,” Spagnuolo said in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch story.
At age 32, Hart fills the roster spot created when the Rams placed Oshiomogho Atogwe on the injured reserve list.
Hart was inactive in the Rams’ 47-7 loss to Tennessee last week.
